Kewpee Holiday Classic coming this weekend

The Lima Senior Athletic Department will host the annual Kewpee Holiday Classic Friday, Dec. 15 and Saturday, Dec. 16, in the Lima Senior Gymnasium. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students. Lima Senior soccer player Colton Fry has been named First Team by the Three Rivers Athletic Conference (TRAC). Sam Sharik earned Second Team Honors. Honorable Mention awards went to Tyler Lesh, Cole Mericle and Kevin Samons. From the Lima Senior girls team, Ta’lor Washington, Kienna Brown and Maddie O’Connell earned Honorable Mention awards.

Lima Senior High School’s boys soccer team beat Toledo Start 4-2 Monday to advance to the Sectional Finals on Wednesday. Lima Senior’s boys soccer team defeated Temple Christian School 2-0 Thursday night. Tyler Lesh and Sam Sharik both had goals, and Colton Fry had two assists. Goalie Micah Rex had 4 saves on 4 shots. Lima Senior had 16 shots on goal. Lima senior is 3-1-0 overall, and  0-1-0 in the TRAC.
