Varsity L Banquet May 22

Lima Senior Athletic Department will hold its 3rd annual Varsity “L” Banquet on May 22, at Lima Senior High School. This banquet is held to celebrate all of our varsity athletes in all sports. Ten Lima Senior student athletes recently signed their National Letters of Intent to continue their playing careers and education at the college level. Lima Senior will see several athletes competing at District contests this coming weekend. Senior wrestler Naeem Russell continued his undefeated season by taking 1st place in #160 at Sectionals. Russell wins TRAC, named Wrestler of the Year

Lima Senior wrestler Naeem Russell won the TRAC (Three Rivers Athletic Conference) championship at 152 pounds this past weekend. Russell was also named the TRAC Wrestler of the Year. Russell, a junior, has only lost one match this season. His current record is 34-1.
